Scouting opportunities for local players through OPSM ID Camp

June 3, 2025

Scrosoppi GM Sara Raulino looks ahead to this weekend’s OPSM ID Camp in Milton, and outlines why local players should sign up.

Scrosoppi are hosting an ID Camp across Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8 to provide local soccer players with opportunities to progress to the next level.

The event is being hosted in collaboration with OPSM Soccer – a platform that promotes upcoming stars of the game. Players at the event will have the opportunity to train with overseas coaches and showcase their talents in front of soccer staff from universities and professional clubs.

OPSM will provide footage for each player in attendance, as well as feedback and insight that could help them progress in the game.

This is the first time Scrosoppi have hosted an event with OPSM. Players aged 14 and above will be able to sign up and attend, with the girls’ camp on the Saturday and the boys’ event on the Sunday.

Sara Raulino is Scrosoppi’s General Manager and she has helped ensure that providing opportunities was at the heart of SFC when the club was founded five years ago.

“We want to promote pathways,” she said. “SFC was created to be a club that could help players reach their next level.

“This is a great opportunity for players to measure themselves against others in similar positions, learn from UEFA Pro coaches, and get feedback on strengths and areas of improvement.

“That’s how players learn to be great. They listen, learn, and adapt. Events like this one create opportunities for players to build their network and connections in the soccer community and give them a chance to be seen on a different stage.

“This event could be the one that opens the door for them and their future in the game.”
