Leading sports reporter sends message following Patrice Gheisar’s appointment.

High-profile journalist Fabrizio Romano has sent a good luck message to Patrice Gheisar and Scrosoppi after it was announced this week that Gheisar had become SFC’s Director of Football Operations here in Milton.


The 32-year-old Italian is a leading voice when it comes to reporting transfers in global soccer, regularly breaking the big stories to his followers across social media, including more than 40 million on Instagram.


Romano said: “Good luck to Patrice Gheisar, appointed as Director of Football Operations for Scrosoppi Football Club. Here we go!


“Patrice is excited to lead the project as well as [being the club’s] League1 men’s head coach and overseeing all League1 teams. Exciting news for football in Canada.”
