League 1 Ontario
League1 Ontario (L1O) was founded in November 2013 and is a semi-professional men’s and women’s soccer league in Ontario, Canada, and is sanctioned by the Canadian Soccer Association and the Ontario Soccer Association as a Division III league in the Canadian soccer league system.
The 2023 season will include 21 teams in the men’s division and 19 teams in the women’s division.
In the Canadian Soccer League system, its men’s division is behind the Canadian Premier League (CPL), and equal to League 1 BC and newly renamed, League 1 Quebec.
Scrosoppi FC is the only League 1 Ontario Premier License holder in Milton, Ontario, the only club to field teams in all Men's and Women's League 1, League 2, and Reserve levels.
Now heading into our 4th season, we look to take the our professionalism and recognition as a top football club to the forefront of Canada Soccer.
League 1 Ontario Men's Premier
Coached by John Yacou, Scrosoppi FC's League 1 Ontario Premier team has become a respected program and nationally-recognized brand for quality football.
League 1 Ontario Women's Championship
Coached by John Yacou, Scrosoppi FC's League 1 Ontario Women's Championship team will take to the pitch in their inaugural season, in the Summer of 2024
League 2 & League 1 Ontario Reserves
Overseen by Premier Head Coach John Yacou and Technical Director, Shayne Griffin, this Reserve program is designed for younger, high-potential players who are looking to be prepared to compete immediately at a professional, Collegiate, and University level, and those returning from College/University/professional off-season.
League 1 Ontario Trials
League 1 Ontario Reserves trials will be hosted in late Fall. For those players, our teams will be attending Fall and Spring College showcases, attending recruitment events, playing in an approved indoor soccer league, preparing for the next summer League 1 Ontario season, and for College/University/professional trials the following Fall.
League 1 Premier trials will be hosted in January. Specific dates will be provided in the near future.
